Why choose us ## Why Northern Ireland homeowners choose P Black and Son We supply and fit products from manufacturers rather than making our own, so our advice is about what suits your home across Northern Ireland, not what we need to sell. Origin aluminium is our best seller; RK Steel is our main steel brand, and we also supply Palladio and Bel'M. ### 15 years' experience Fifteen years of supplying and fitting. ### Premium brands Origin, RK Steel, Palladio and Bel'M. ### 20 years on Origin A 20-year manufacturer's guarantee on Origin products. Local challenges ## What Northern Ireland homes are up against ### Climate Northern Ireland's wet, windy weather is hard on old frames. Correct sealing at installation matters. ### Building age From Victorian terraces to new builds, each age of home needs a different approach. ### Access City streets and rural lanes both need planning for large glass deliveries. ### Condensation Cold, failing frames and units attract condensation and mould. Local guide ## Planning your project across Northern Ireland ### The north coast Most of our work is on the Causeway Coast and around Coleraine: Portrush, Portstewart, Castlerock, Bushmills and Ballycastle. Coastal homes take the full force of Atlantic weather, so we focus on robust, low-maintenance aluminium and steel frames and careful sealing at installation. ### Inland market towns Inland, we work across market towns such as Ballymoney, Ballymena and Limavady, where extensions to family homes and full window replacements are the most common jobs. Many customers combine new garden doors with matching windows. ### Belfast and Lisburn We also supply and fit Origin aluminium and RK Steel in Belfast and Lisburn, from Victorian terraces to suburban extensions and city renovations. The same family team handles every job, wherever it is. ### Countryside and self-builds Across rural Northern Ireland, we work on farmhouses, conversions and new self-builds, often with glazed gables, large sliders and bi-folds. For these projects we coordinate with your builder and plan delivery on rural lanes at the survey stage. ### What to expect on fitting day Wherever you are, our team arrives with your made-to-measure products, protects your home, removes the old frames, and fits, packs and seals the new ones. Every opening part is tested, the site is tidied, and we walk you through how everything works before we go. The balance is due on the day of completion. ### Products we supply Origin aluminium is our best seller, with a 20-year manufacturer's guarantee. RK Steel is our steel brand for internal doors, with a fire-rated option, and for front doors we supply Bel'M and Palladio, so we can recommend what genuinely suits your home rather than pushing a single product. ### Why families choose a local team Choosing a family business means the people who survey your home are the people who fit it and handle aftercare. There are no handovers between salespeople, surveyors and subcontracted fitters, and you always know who to call. That's how we've worked for 15 years. Our process ## Five clear steps, start to finish - 01 ### Free written quote Send us your plans or drawings and we'll give you a clear quote listing product, brand, finish and fitting. No cost, no pressure. - 02 ### Measure up Once you accept, we visit your home across Northern Ireland to take exact measurements. - 03 ### Order A 65% deposit orders your products, made to your measurements. - 04 ### Installation Our fitters remove old frames, install, seal and check every opening part. - 05 ### Completion We tidy up, hand over and confirm the manufacturer's guarantee. Balance due on completion day. Questions ## Northern Ireland FAQs Do you work outside Northern Ireland?+We work across Northern Ireland and occasionally further afield. Call us to check.
